The Space

Step into the past and embrace the true essence of a Kiwi beach getaway at Calypso Cottage! This charming cottage offers a delightful retreat for your family vacation.
With two cozy bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, you'll have all the comforts you need. Picture yourself lounging on the spacious decks, admiring the stunning water views in the front and the scenic mountain and garden vistas in the back.
Inside, the open living space boasts comfy sofas, a TV with DVDs, and bi-folding doors that leading you to the front deck. The classic 90s kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and more – perfect for cooking up a holiday feast. And don't forget the gas BBQ for effortless family meals! A cafetiere and local plunger coffee is also provided.
The master bedroom offers a queen bed and access to the back deck, while the second bedroom features two single beds and its own sliding doors to the back deck and garden. The bathroom, conveniently located near the second bedroom, includes a shower, toilet, and vanity.

The garage houses a washing machine to tackle any vacation laundry.

The back garden has several mature fruit trees which produce lots of fruit – please help yourself during your stay.
Across the road follow the public footpath down to one of Raglans hidden treasures - Moonlight bay. At high tide this makes a great swimming spot and at low tide a great place for a walk or explore.

Located in the sought after quiet Greenslade road, which is a short 5 minute drive into Raglan. The property has a public beach access track across the road from the property. At the bottom of the road there is another walking track leading you to Lorenzen Bay and into Raglan town at low tide.
Raglan has something for everyone. And this home is ideally located to explore the local area.
Surfers will love the big waves at world-famous Manu Bay. Nearby Cox Bay and Lorenzen Bay are great spots for swimming, kayaking and body boarding or just relaxing in the sunshine. You may even get lucky and spot one of the orcas that regularly come to visit the bays.
Also on offer in Raglan is fantastic bushwalking, golf, mini putt and, of course, plenty of fishing.
The vibrant café and arts scene in Raglan township is just a short drive away. There’s a wealth of delicious dining options to choose from, along with specialist arts and crafts shops to explore. Also within easy reach are the supermarket and shopping facilities.
Do as much or as little as you want – the choice is yours. Raglan is a fantastic holiday destination any time of year.

In addition to the basic amenities and cleanliness, the cottage had quality linen, blankets and towels. Also, nice furniture, stylish decor, and plenty of space for 3 people (also for four). The cottage is opposite the walkway to the water and has lovely views from the deck. Its a quiet neighborhood not far from the little town and the beaches. Really nice accommodation.
