The Space
This modern, two-storey home plus self-contained unit is really something special for holidaying with a large group. The main property has 4 bedrooms, plus sleeping accomodation in the insulated garage and 2.5 bathrooms. The separate back unit has a further 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The whole property can comfortably sleep 16 making it a perfect choice for large families or groups holidaying together. On request guest numbers can be extended to 18 with the use of an additional trundler bed in each dwelling.
In the main house you will be able to cook up a storm in the well-equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen. The splash-back feature window means you can still enjoy the fabulous outlook along with a glimpse of the Te Uku windmills. Dine inside or outside, this home has flexible options for all seasons and weather.
Upstairs also has a separate WC plus the expansive combined living, dining and kitchen area. With a relaxed beach vibe, the living areas are stylishly furnished and offer maximum comfort. The large floor to ceiling slider doors deliver a seamless indoor-outdoor flow while maximising the stunning vistas.
You will also find upstairs the super-king master bedroom with a luxurious ensuite, double wardrobe and built-in study nook.
Downstairs has two queen-size bedrooms plus a bunk room with 2x bunk beds that easily sleeps four. You’ll find another two bunk beds (sleeping two) in the large, insulated garage. On request a trundler bed can also be made available in this insulated garage space.
This space also offers as an entertainment room, including a dart board, pool table, bean bags and a smart TV. A spacious, contemporary bathroom completes the downstairs indoor set-up.
The separate self-contained unit at the back of the property has 2 further bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the second bedroom with bunk beds sleeping 4 guests. On request a trundler bed can also be made available in the bunk room. There is one bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Plus a full kitchen, living space with heat pump and tv, dining area, and an outdoor courtyard and lawn with an outdoor sofa. Please note that access to this unit is external to the main house.
For those that want to keep on top of their holiday laundry, the front house comes equipped with a family-sized washing machine and dryer plus the back unit has a euro style laundry behind a cavity slider in the kitchen.
And to keep those little ones (or adult ones) entertained outdoors, they can get involved in some Jumpflex trampoline action on the front lawn. In addition, there are two toddler swings for the little ones. There is also a heated outdoor shower to wash away sandy toes and for those that enjoy a spot of fishing, the outdoor space is complete with a purpose built filleting station.

Location
Location matters when you're on holiday, and this home is close to all local amenities. Raglan township is just a 5-minute drive away for your supermarket shopping, pick-me-up barista coffee or an ice-cream treat. Known for its arts and crafts, Raglan has plenty of boutique shops perfect for browsing, plus an excellent choice of eateries and cafes.
Lorenzen Bay is just a short stroll away and offers safe swimming, kayaking, sunbathing and family fun.
For the more adventurous, there are plenty of options nearby. The surf beaches at Ngarunui Beach and Manu Bay are only 10 minutes by car. And if tramping and walking are more your thing, check out the Mount Karioi Summit Tracks or Te Toto Gorge Track. And with fishing, kite surfing, harbour cruises and horse treks, Raglan has something for everyone.

Please note there is no bathtub for little ones, but with two large, level entry showers, there is plenty of space for a toddler bath.
Access to the house is via a very steep driveway. This is concrete sealed and no problem for cars/Utes/SUV’s to use, but please be mindful of children if they have skateboards, bikes or scooters available.
There is off street parking for 5 vehicles on the driveway. If you are bringing more than 5 vehicles please let us know and we will advise the best place to park the additional vehicles. There is free street parking but it is located about 100m away from the property at the bottom of the steep driveway.
Sporting equipment can be stored in the lockable garage area.
All linen, towels and basic amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, carton of milk) are included in your nightly rate.
